September will be an Edition of Major Changes in Milan Fashion
July 26th, 2010
As announced, that of September will be an edition of major changes. The Chamber National fashion keeps the promises and presents a first draft of the calendar parades-from 22 to 28 September-that will forget the controversial “Week” in last February.
“A quantum shift”, as it was defined by Mario Boselli, President of Cnmi, that “it will take a leap of quality in Milan”. An edition also marked by great return Dolce & Gabbana left the group 8 years ago, and by the use of location prestigious in the heart of the city (among which the loggia of merchants and the circle of philological via Clerici). Seven Days strong and balanced, in which even the young talents will be exploited, with the support from large brand. Wednesday 22 September, the Festival will be open, among others, Gucci and Alberta Ferretti. Thursday, 23 will be the round of Fendi and Prada. Friday 24, spotlight on parade of Moschino, Gianfranco Ferré and Versace, while the big 25 Saturday runway will Bottega Veneta, Max Mara, Villa Rosa, Jil Sander and Emilio Pucci to be followed, Sunday, 26, Marni, Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni and Salvatore Ferragamo. Monday, 27 we will see dsquared2, Roberto Cavalli and Giorgio Armani. The week will be retracted Tuesday 28, with brands such as Enrico Coveri and 1ᵃ class Alviero Martini.
A measures without doubt exceptional, thanks to which Milan and the Made in Italy is reclaiming their spaces, but not free from polemics. The chamber of fashion has indeed decided to admit only “names that are the real pret-a-porter, and excluding Elena Miro, brand symbol of plump women from 2005 included in Schedule of Milan fashion week. Disappointment even by Valeria Marini in front of the ouster of its seduction diamonds, together with all the marks of Beachwear. The rest, we know, it is not easy to be please everyone !
